Les Journées du Patrimoine are finally here. What does it mean you ask? Well, on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 of September 2017, the French capital will open the doors of its exclusive venues to the public.
This annual event is your only rendez-vous to visit "forbidden" monuments. For example, you can go to l'Assemblée Nationale, la Banque de France, le Sénat and le Palais de l'Élysée and many more. So yes, you can basically visit the president's home!
Some other good news is that the entrance is free of charge and without any prior reservation. All you have to do is wear comfortable shoes (for queuing), and get ready to discover exclusive spots.
